Un-Archiving a Product

Note: This feature is available only to administrators and to inventory assistants with permission to edit product data.

When an archived product comes back into use, you can un-archive it to bring it back into active use. An un-archived product can be searched, viewed, edited, reported on, and so on, just like any other active product.

To un-archive a product:

Starting at the Product Information page (How do I get there?), do the following:

Click the EDIT button at the top of the display.

Note: This button appears only when you are logged in as a) an administrator, or b) an inventory assistant with permission to edit product data.

The Information Administration page opens, showing the areas of product data you can edit.
In the You can also: area, click UnArchive. (This option appears only on archived products.)

A message asks for confirmation. If you click Yes to confirm, the product is un-archived.
